A Long, Hard Road For My Lenaptalf
After realizing that they needed instruments and musical talent to play music, My Lenaptalf set off to make the biggest purchase of their lives. With only a couple hundred dollars, the memebers of My Lenaptalf got a guitar, and drumset. Knowing this wasn't enough, they had to come up with a way to get a bass guitar and a p.a. Realizing they would never come up with the money they needed, one night they backed their van up to the window of a local music shop and stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
My Lenaptalf's Run In With the Law
After stealing the equipment, My lenaptalf set out to learn to play. That's when they made the biggets mistake of their life. Knowing they would never be able to teach themselves to master the art of metal, My Lenaptalf took the instruments in to get lessons. The store they went to unfortunatelly, was the store they stole the instruments from.
Ziggy, Lead Guitarist of My Lenaptalf - "I guess it was pretty stupid taking the stolen instruments back to that store, but who would have thought that at the time? We needed to learn how to play and we were low on gas, it was just the closest store."
Thomas Henry, Owner of Rockin Instrument Music Store - "I couldn't belive it! The night after those idiots stole my instruments, they strole in my store with them and ask me for lessons! I was still filling out the police report! They were arrested on the spot, I felt so bad I gave them (My Lenaptalf) instruments though."
My Lenaptalf didn't go down without a fight unfortunatelly, after trying to run and fighting with numorous cops, the band was booked on a number of charges.
My Lenaptalf, Jail and Back
Jail was tough on My Lenaptalf, the inmates didn't respect men wearing makeup and spandex. The members of My Lenaptalf served 6 months in jail and were released on good behavior. The jail time brought the members of My Lenaptalf to a breaking point though, and the band broke up.

My Lenaptalf Continues On!
Although My Lenaptalf's style, and style of music died out in the late 80's and early 90's, they have re-united to rock. My Lenaptalf still hasn't played a single show, and really still can't play their instruments, but they are hoping that by using this website and their My Lenaptalf myspace profile that their music will finally get the recognition it deserves.
If you happen to work at a club in the Los Angeles area, My Lenaptalf would like to talk to you! The plan is still the same as it was the day they stepped on the scene. "We haven't played any shows, recorded any demo's, or even practiced. Our goal is still the same though, we wanna play The Whisky A Go Go, The Rainbow, The Roxy, and The Troubadour. The style of music they play there now may be a little different, but we'll bring the hair metal scene back full force." - Nash, My Lenaptalf Lead Vocalist
My Lenaptalf's Tour will be rolling through a town near you. Once we can get some gas money to fill up our van
